Karen

aka “Betsy Boss”, Co-owner and Instructor

Karen began actively participating in group fitness programs in 2007 and took her first instructor training course in 2008. Since then she has been adding group fitness trainings & teaching her custom classes.

She has completed certifications with the Athletics & Fitness Association of America, FeetUp® Foundation of Trust Safety Certification, Turbo Kick®, YogaFit® and Zumba® and holds a black belt in tae kwon do and a blue belt in Jiu jitsu. She added pole fitness to her repertoire in November of 2014 and has loved incorporating it into her fitness routine. Through the pole community she met and joined the St. Louis Lady Arm Wrestlers and is a two-time champion in their organization. She's performed with hip hop groups and in various pole shows in the Midwest. Whether leading a class or taking one, she loves to see people feel healthier, stronger and just generally better about themselves.

When she's not on a yoga mat, a pole, or a stage you can catch her with her energetic pit bull Potatoes. Karen is eager to share her style of yoga, her love of movement & her passion for exercise with her classes.

Christine

aka “Toy”; Instructor

Christine was a life long couch potato until she started at the Michelle Mynx Academy of Pole Dance in 2019 and discovered a real passion for movement and dance. She loves the joy of accomplishing something difficult and becoming more in-tune with her body. She started training at Rebelle in 2020 and fell in love with the supportive community Karen and Bailey have built in Washington. She can’t wait to introduce more folks to the wide and wonderful world of pole dancing! Off-The-Pole she can be found pestering her animals for affection, planning her next international adventure, and browsing for more pleasers and workout wear.

Bailey

aka “Bailey El. Ex.”, Co-owner and Instructor

Bailey has been a workout-fiend since 2007. Initially starting as a dancer, she got into yoga as a means of additional stretch and strength training which snowballed her love for movement. Throughout college, she maintained her love for dance and working out, eventually stumbling into her first pole class in 2015. Since then she has competed in pole dancing across the US with over 7 titles awarded and performed for major acts such as Snoop Dogg and El Monstero. She is also trained in lyra (aerial hoop) and contortion. She has taught aerial arts since 2018 and is a 500 hr RYT with Yoga Alliance.

As much as she loves performing, dancing, and training for herself, Bailey loves the positivity that comes with teaching people how to love their bodies through fitness. Getting to see people grow each class fills her heart.

When she isn’t pole dancing or doing yoga, she reverts to her self-proclaimed nerdy self, fantasizing about her next travels or obsessively discussing Harry Potter fan theories across the internet. She is also a proud dog mom of four fur-babies.
